Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday defended the decision to celebrate RCB’s victory in front of the Assembly and said that it did not happen untoward. The DPAR had asked whether it would be good to perform the honor ceremony of RCB players on the main stairs of the assembly. This letter was written in response.

If the program is held on the main stairs of the assembly in a hurry, millions of fans will reach there. This will cause problems in the security system as there are less policemen there. He further said that for such a big program, police will also have to be brought from outside the city, which will take time. Both law and order and traffic police will also have to work together, but the time is short.
The official said that if this program takes place, then online or offline pass should be stopped for the assembly coming to the assembly. In addition, the secretariat employees are likely to come to the program with their family, so an order should be issued to stop it. He also said that the employees of the secretariat should be discharged in the afternoon so that they also do not come there.
The letter also states that more CCTV cameras should be installed around the assembly, as huge crowds are expected to come. The DCP wrote that the assembly is a historic and important building. Keeping security in mind, it should take time to do such a program so that the building does not suffer any harm and the rules are followed. Despite this, whatever decision of the government will be considered.
